What's the difference between Faux Stained Glass and Traditional Acrylic print styles?

In short, our Faux Stained Glass print style is meant for back-lit display and our Wall-mounted print style is meant for front-lit display.

The wall-mounted print style has an extra backing layer of white ink. This additional layer allows front lighting to bounce back through the print’s ink layer creating vivid colors and contrast.

The faux stained glass style, without this additional layer of ink, allows maximum translucency when backlit creating a beautiful luminous effect closely resembling traditional stained glass.

That’s it!

What are the prints made of?

Our prints are printed directly onto the surface of acrylic sheets. Acrylic is a type of lightweight, shatter-resistant, flexible plastic.  It is scratch and break-resistant, washable and significantly stronger than glass. It is typically even more transparent than glass.

How are prints packed for shipping?

We spend a lot of time packaging using custom made foam, bubble wrap and corrugated boxes. Each box also has extra corrugated protected corners.

How long before I get my prints?

It typically takes 6 working days to produce prints. We then ship by courier or truck.

What if my prints arrive damaged?

In the rare case a print arrives damaged, please email a photo of the print and packaging to support@fauxstainedglasspanes.com and we will ship a replacement.
